The temperature outside is starting to rise as we head into spring and summer. As a reminder, especially when your employees are working outdoors, there must be a heat illness prevention plan in place. This has been a focus of OSHA over the last couple of years. TPM received a grant that focuses on Heat Illness Prevention Training from OSHA and wants to encourage all of our members to contact us to receive the training.
It is a great opportunity to remind your staff through training, about the importance of following your heat illness prevention guidelines. Here is a link from the OSHA website to review an employer’s responsibility. https://www.osha.gov/heat/employer-responsibility.
This training has been highly requested so we want to encourage everyone to get the training on the calendar as soon as possible. Contact TPM if you are interested.
